The Legend of Zelda: The Oracle
of Ages manga was drawn by Akira
Himekawa and was published by Shogakukan for Nintendo.
Like I said on the main page, Raven is found in this comic as one of the main
characters, but does not appear in any actual Zelda game. The manga is very
loosely based on the games- which came out in spring of 2001. So far the manga
is only officially available in Japanese, but it's easily imported or found
through auction sites. If you would like to order a copy for yourself, the the
product number is ISBN4-09-149605-9 -It will be the most helpful information
you could have to give to an import store when you go to order. If you live
in NYC or LA, you could probably find a local place that could get this in for
you, but if you need to use the web- Myself and many others have used Sasuga
Books with no problems. If you type "Zelda" or "Akira Himekawa"
in the search engine on their site, you can find the other Zelda novels.

The Oracle of Ages is really the second volume of a series; The Oracle of Seasons being the real first book. (ISBN4-09-149604-0) They can be read alone, but it's probably best go through them in order. Annie of Zelda no Densetsu translated both volumes into English; I edited most of it then Beno picked up where I left off. Since both our sites are on hiatus, you can find both Seasons and Ages translated on Zelda Legends in the manga section. There are a few other sites that offer this in other languages, I will try to find them again so I can list them here. I believe that the real Japanese titles are something like Zelda no Densetsu- Fushigi no kinomi (Mysterious Nuts): Daichi no shou (Chapter of Earth) Jikuu no shou (Chapter of Space-Time) But the Japanese books have English in the title as well.

Also, the name Akira Himekawa is actually a pseudonym. The two women who are behind the manga are Honda A. and Nagano S. They've created many volumes of Zelda manga, along with other works I'm sadly unfamiliar with. I'd love to get them, I just don't know any of the info on them. Zelda Legends should have the correct info on the other Zelda stuff- But basically they've done Link to the Past, Four Swords, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and the Minish Cap. No Wind Waker though, or any of the other Old School games. I believe that most of the Zelda work has been published in some of Nintendo's various Japanese magazines for school children. Here's an article on them that I've scanned. (Sorry, I don't know Japanese) But it shows some of their work, process, and pictures of their studio!
Let me know if I left something tasty out.
