~Autumn Stream~

Added to the site on January 27, 2008. Oh, man, if this year hadn't been such hell, this would have been done a lot sooner: I started this almost a year ago!

This is for the wonderful Michi! It's her original character, Saphine, and was pretty much based on a cute chibi she did of her a while back. I hadn't seen her new avatar, which I think is just so damn cute, when I started. I kind of just took free reign with most of it. It was done in photoshop with a tablet. I looked at some otter pictures on cute otters.com for quick reference (check that place out, toooo cute.) It was going to be a nighttime scene but I don't really know what time of day/night it ended up being... "Random" color time maybe. /// I was going to put a magpie or a peregrine falcon (colors would have matched nicely) on her shoulder -but I started to think it would be too animal heavy then

I must thank Jake, Chronentity/Diana, Louisa, Mandy, and more for the helpful ass critiques. It was falling apart without you. *bows* Oh, people have asked me about the textures... There's some crackle on the leaves and an overlay on the whole image of a splotchy purple image, but it's mostly painted by hand. I really can't do much in photoshop, I only know the basics.
