This is the TFL approved fanlisting for the original Legend of Zelda. In more recent years this game was released by Nintento on a Gamecube friendly collectors disk and for the Gameboy Advance. This site was opened on April 03, 2006 after the old fanlisting closed.

Webmaster Update April 24, 2008: No real update, just tweaked some stuff and am simply posting to keep the site current.

What is a fanlisting? A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. About The Legend of Zelda: Wow, what a game, what a series, where should I start? I believe that the original game was first released in Japan on Feb 21, 1986 for the Famicom Disk System. It was titled The Hyrule Fantasy: Zeruda no Densetsu or The Hyrule Fantasy: The Legend of Zelda. I think it was then released in the US on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in July of 1987. Since then it has been re-released several times for several different systems.
